Remember when you made Davey's birthday cake and couldnt figure out why it didnt rise correctly.
Turns out you used brownie mix instead of cake mix!
As years go by...I do the same silly things!!

Wish you were here with me everyday.
Mom had been talking about her death for about a month prior. It was like she already knew her time was limited. She told me she was ready to go. She was tired. Her kids had all grown up and it was time for her to move on. She was not happy being here any longer.
I will never forget her saying to me, "Just be happy", "Do what ever it is that will make you happy in life and don't let anyone stop you".
Not long before mom died, we sat watching the movie What Dreams May Come. It stars Robin Williams and was released in 1998. It was a favorite of mine but mom had never seen it. Its a love story that knows no boundaries, in Heaven or Hell. The visual effects are incredible and have to be seen to be appreciated.
After watching the movie with mom, she asked me if i thought that was what Heaven was really like. I told her, "yes, I think it is what ever you want it to be".
So now , once in a while, I rewatch the movie, and wonder what mom did with her heaven.
